Regatta Highlights:
Beautiful sandy beachfront camping at water’s edge in “primitive” areas.
Hot showers & token machines available at Lone Eagle Campground & Arthur Bay restrooms.
Rules:
*Per NE Parks, with NGP Ranger enforcement- no glass & no alcohol on beach! *Recreational marijuana is illegal in NE.
The regatta will be governed by the rules as defined in the 2025-2028 Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS) https://www.sailing.org/racingrules/ and the International Hobie Class Association 2025-2028 Class Rules https://hobieclass.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/R_Book_01042025-rev.1.137.pdf

Friday Aug 22nd
2:30 PM: Skippers’ Meeting
3 PM: Bryan’s Long-Distance Race, Le Mans beach start
Saturday Aug 23rd
9 AM to 10 AM: Registration on Beach (follow air horn, SI’s provided)
10 AM: Skippers’ meeting
11 AM: First Shape as early as 11:00 AM- Wind permitting
Dinner to be determined!
Sunday Aug 24th
EVERYONE WELCOME!! 8:30 AM FLEET 61 MEETING: FLEET 61 BOD Nominations, Votes; DIVISION 5 Meeting; Nominations, Votes; Discussion of 2026 Regatta Schedule
First Shape as early as 10:00 AM- Wind permitting
No races started after 3 PM; Awards following racing
Eligibility:
The Regatta is open to all boats of the Hobie one-design classes, plus an open class for non-Hobie cats. Pursuant to IHCA Rule 26, 1 crewperson must be a current IHCA member to race.
Proof of current personal liability insurance is required & may be asked for.
NGP vehicle pass is required - purchase online/ at park entry gates/ at visitor center; $71 annual/ $14 daily, non-NE resident. https://www.gooutdoorsne.com/customer/catalog?residentTypeId=3
